First Annual Johnson Brothers Ford Police Memorial Golf Tournament

Every so often, Johnson Brothers Ford joins in with local charities and foundations to help raise funds for their benefit. On April 20 and 21, the 1st Annual Police Memorial Golf Tournament sponsored by Johnson Bros will take place on the beautiful grounds of the Wildflower Country Club in Temple. This tournament will host a silent auction as well as a live auction. There will be entertainment and a dinner the day before the tournament begins.

All proceeds from this dinner and golfing tournament will be given directly to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Foundation. This outstanding organization began with Sheriff Eddy Lange, who wanted to give back to the community for those who have fallen in the line of duty. He designed this foundation as a way to assist families of those officers and support them by means of financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and other much-needed services.

If you would like to participate in the tournament, fill out their form and return it to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Foundation in Belton, Texas. A single entrant is $125 and a team, which consists of four players, is $500. You can also simply donate to the cause or become a sponsor. There are three levels of sponsorship — Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each sponsorship receives a banner in recognition on the course, four complimentary golfers, and at least 8 banquet tickets.

On April 20, the banquet and auction will be held from 3pm until about 8pm at Cathedral Oaks. The silent auction begins when they open the doors at 3pm and dinner is served promptly at 5:30pm. There will be live entertainment for your enjoyment during the event until 7pm. The live auction will follow the live entertainment and will have marvelous items up for grabs. A few of them include an autographed fiddle from Charlie Daniels, a wide selection of firearms, and autographed CDs by George Strait, Luke Bryan. and Eric Pasley. Other items will be up for auction as well, so you won’t want to miss this exciting event.

The Tournament will be held April 21 with Tee-Off time precisely at 1pm. This is one event you can feel good about attending. If you have any questions, just give your Temple Ford dealer a call.
