Santa at the Library in Taylor

On December 12, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Santa will be at the Taylor Public Library, 801 Vance Street, Taylor, Texas, 76574. Hear Jolly Ol’ St. Nick read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, have a one-on-one with Santa and make some holiday crafts. Remember to bring cameras for some great holiday pictures.

Taste of Country Christmas Tour

On December 11, 2015 starting at 10:00 p.m. at Whiskey Creek, 171 FM 3219, Killeen, Texas, 76543, take the Taste of Country Christmas Tour. Country music fans will get to meet the hottest new country stars in an intimate setting.

2015 City of Temple Christmas Parade

On December 7, 2015 starting at 6:30 p.m. be sure you are in downtown Temple, 2 N. Main Street, for the City of Temple Christmas parade. Floats will be judged during the parade for those entries that opt to be judged. Ten awards will be given out including $650 and a plaque for first place. The parade will start at Adams Avenue near West 8th Street. It will make its way along Adams to 23rd Street, turning right on 23rd, and then finish up at Temple High School.

If you just picked up a new vehicle at Johnson Brothers Ford, you’re ready to head out to November events in Temple, Texas. Even if you attend a toy run on your Harley, you’ll need your vehicle in good running condition so that you can make it to the store to pick up a new toy and maybe even start your Christmas shopping early.

Bell County Toy Run – Ft. Hood Harley-Davidson

The Bell County Toy Run starts at 8:00 a.m. and runs until 2:00 p.m. on November 15, 2015. Be at 3303 N. 3rd, Temple, Texas with a new, unwrapped toy and ready to roll. Because of the number of bikes that attend these events, you might want to get there around 7-ish. Be advised that Industrial Drive west of IH 35 is closed because of construction. If you are coming Northbound, take Exit 303A for Industrial Boulevard; and Southbound, take Exit 303 for Industrial Boulevard.

Fall Family Formal

Head over to the Gober Party House in Temple, Texas on Saturday, November 14, 2015 for the Fall Family Formal from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Formal wear is required. Enjoy a night of music, dancing, fun and pictures. All ages are welcome. Tickets are available at templeparks.com and are $7 per person. Family photos and concessions will be available for purchase. Holiday Craft Bazaar

From 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015, stop by the Gober Party House for the Holiday Craft Bazaar. Door prizes are drawn hourly. Stop by to pick up some unique gifts for relatives and special friends. You’ll also be able to pick up some handmade holiday décor. Admission is free for shoppers. Heart O’ Texas Fairgrounds Funpass 2015

Starting at 8:00 a.m. on October 17, 205, the Heart O’ Texas Fairgrounds Funpass 2015 will start at the Extraco Events Center, 4601 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, Texas, 76714. Head over to Waco to have a fun day at the festival. Performers include Wade Bowen and Amaya Rodriguez. Enjoy the midway, fair food, animals, a kids’ zone and much more. The 17th is the last day of the fair – the fair started on October 6, 2015. Admission is $65.

Art Outside Music Festival

Head over to Rockdale on October 22, 2015 for the Art Outside Music Festival, starting at 1:00 p.m. The festival will be held at Apache Pass, 9112 North Farm to Market 908, Rockdale, Texas, 76567. Enjoy workshops, visual art and more. Performers include Bonobo, Greensky Bluegrass, Lettuce, Papadosio, Rising Appalachia, Exmag, Haywire, Twiddle and many more. CroptoberFest Retreat in Temple

Central Texas State Fair in Belton

The Central Texas State Fair will be held from September 4 through September 6, 2015 at the Bell County Expo Center, 301 West Loop 121 in Belton. For tons of rides, expositions, fair food and more, be sure to plan to attend the fair the first weekend in September.

4th Annual Vets Helping Vets Event

This year’s Vets Helping Vets event will be held at 14595 FM 439 in Belton on September 5, 2015. Enjoy live music by The Back Creek Band, Babylon Boys and Lady Zion. Take part in raffles, including a 50/50 raffle, enjoy food from Chillin and Grillin Texas BBQ, browse through vendors to find those unique Christmas gifts and just have tons of fun. Proceeds from this event benefit the Fort Hood Fisher House, Phantom Warrior Support and the Texas Veterans Home Christmas Bags Program.

Harker Heights Food, Wine & Brew Festival

This year’s food, wine and brew festival will be held on September 12, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Harker Heights Community Park, 1501 E. FM 2410 Road in Harker Heights. Enjoy culinary chefs, live music, artists, food, Homebrew Demos, breweries, and wine from Texas Wineries. Entertainment includes Dysfunkshun Junkshun, Kirk Baxley and the 1st Cav Division Rock Band. Admission is $20.

Funky Junk Roundup in Waco

Head over to the Waco Convention Center on August 15, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. for the Funky Junk Roundup. This one-day shopping extravaganza features handcrafted items, vintage finds, hand-painted furniture, antiques, jewels and junktiques. The Waco Convention Center is located at 100 Washington Avenue, Waco, Texas.

20th Annual Margarita & Salsa Festival in Waco

On August 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. a the Extraco Events Center, 4601 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, Texas, 76714 for the 20th Annual Margarita & Salsa Festival. Enjoy music, great food and more at this festival. This is an outdoor festival and there is standing room only. Children under 2 years of age. Everyone aged 3 and older must have a ticket. 49th Annual Salado Art Fair in Salado

This free family event will feature over 100 artists, children’s art inspiration areas, live music and food trucks. This event is partially indoors and partially outdoors under historic oak trees. Dallas Comic Book Show

On July 18, 2015, head over to the Doubletree Hotel Dallas Market Center to see Battlestar Galactica actor Richard Hatch at the Dallas Comic Book Show. The show starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. The Doubletree Hotel is located at 2015 Market Center Boulevard, Dallas, Texas, 75207. Admission is $10 at the door, but kids that are 11 years and under are free. Additional guest appearances include Keith Pollard, the co-creator of Black Cat and the artist on Daredevil, Amazing Spider-Man, Thor and Fantastic Four, and Larry Stroman for Alien Legion and X-Factor. The Small Business Expo will be held on May 14, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Dallas Convention Center, Hall A, 650 S. Griffin Street, Dallas, Texas, 75202. This is the largest business-to-business trade show and conference and is something that you don’t want to miss if you are a small business owner. The Austin Belly Dance Convention 2015

On Friday, May 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. through Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., the Austin Belly Dance Convention will be held at the Holiday Inn – Midtown, 6000 Middle Fiskville Road, Austin, Texas, 78752. Enjoy a whole weekend of instruction, inspiring performances and products from the belly dance community. Featured dancers include Zahra Zuhair and April Rose. Additional artists include Jenza, Charlie Lockwood, Aslaha, Michelle Sorensen and Zymirrah.

The event will features more than 50 hours of classes and presentations for belly dancers of all levels and styles, two evening performance programs, two live music shows and over 25 hours of shopping time from a hand-picked collection of vendors.
