The month of March brings warmer weather and the need to get outside and enjoy the much needed sun. Fortunately, there are several great activities you can do with your friends and family this month. The week of March 10-14 holds Spring Break Day Camp for the residents of Cedar Park, Texas. Camp Timberwolf is a day camp that includes lots of recreational activities for children aged five to twelve. Camp will begin every day of the mentioned week from 7:15am until 6pm. Children will be able to enjoy certain types of activities such as sports, arts and crafts, nature outings and games. It will be held at the Cedar Park Recreation Center and is $125 for residents. Non-residents are welcome as well for $155.
Want something else to do for Spring Break? How about loading the family up in the Ford and heading to the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum? This fascinating museum will be hosting an extraordinary model train display from March 11 to March 14. There will be dozens of train layouts throughout the event built and maintained by the Central Texas Area Model Railroaders. There are no admission fees to view the model trains but if you want to view the rest of the museum, the regular fees apply.
The magic and wonderment of a circus have always captured the hearts of many. Get ready for one of the best performances in Texas. The Piccadilly Circus is coming to Gatesville, TX on March 23. This circus will showcase dozens of acrobats, motorcycles in the Globe of Death, circus clowns and more. There will also be rides for children and tons of cotton candy. This stunning attraction will be held at the Gatesville Riding Club and has three separate show times. You can purchase your tickets online and children under thirteen are free.
