On February 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., head over to the Bell County Expo Center, 301 West Loop 121, Belton, Texas, for the Mother Earth News Fair. This family-friendly sustainable living event features over 150 demonstrations and hands-on workshops for organic gardening, preparing food, preserving food, renewable energy, home steading, remodeling, green building, green transportation, small-scale livestock, natural health and more.

You also enjoy vendors, hands-on children’s projects, craft demonstrations, livestock demonstrations, local and organic food offerings and artisan food tastings.

Winter 2016 Retreat in Temple

On February 5, 2016, head over to Rockin’ R Retreat Center, 5650 Bottoms Road in Temple if you love to organize traditional or digital photos. The event starts at noon on February 5, 6 and 7. Enjoy home-cooked meals, fun and photos. Plus you’ll have an opportunity to get your home movies and photos digitized. The event fee is $230 for Thursday through Sunday, $195 for Friday through Sunday, and $75 for Saturday only.
